gabby anstey mcdonald has had a knack for creating things with her hands ever since she was a little girl. she began making jewelry in college, beading necklaces as gifts for friends. it wasn't until about a decade later that she started pursuing the hobby again, only to find she instantly had a growing client base for her pieces. today, she pairs her love for designing jewelry with her passion for writing, both of which have become her careers. gabby resides in telluride, colorado with her husband, daughter and humongous Alaskan malamute. she adores the mountains and the outdoors, finding tireless inspiration in them every day.

the a.gabby jewelry designs are all hand-crafted and made from semi-precious stone beads, as well as sterling silver and 24-karat gold-fill. precious stone beads and 14- or 18-karat gold are available upon request. gabby appreciates the random and asymmetrical beauty found in the everyday, using these details as the foundation behind her original creations. she is constantly cultivating and experimenting with new designs, oftentimes sketching ideas on paper towels or daydreaming about colors and materials while on the chair lift. special orders and requests are available, as are inquiries about styles not featured on the website. in addition, because pieces are made to order, some bead shapes, sizes and stones, as well as other materials, are subject to change based on availability or unavailability. substitutions are made accordingly, but dependent upon customer satisfaction.
